Bringing Together Mental Health Practitioners, Organisations and Charities for Young Adults aged 17-30 years

Whether you have mental health issues yourself or you are a worried parent or carer, knowing where you can find help and who to turn to is vital. Organising this event has opened our eyes as to just how many charities and organisations there are in our community who are doing great work when it comes to mental health. This event is designed to get as many of those organisations as we can under one roof, so they can tell us who they are and what they can offer to this very vulnerable age group who are increasingly suffering with their mental health.
On the day, you can expect the representatives of these organisations to be available in the Auditorium of the Harlington Centre, Fleet. They will be there to talk to visitors and hand out information. In the Function Room of the Harlington, we will also have speakers on different types of mental health issues and a Mindfulness session, and we hope this will bring more understanding to some of the mental health challenges being faced.
Stalls in the Auditorium will provide information and a chance to talk to professionals about all sorts of mental health issues and signpost to what help you need and where to get it
Mindfulness Workshop learn techniques to calm yourself and to help you stay in control
Refreshments tea, coffee and water will be available throughout the afternoon
Speakers in the Function Room will talk on various topics including Social Anxiety; OCD; ADHD; Mental Health Practitioners' Roles in the Community; Practical advice and help for parents
Quiet Space if you need some time-out or chill in the Hub
We will notify you through the app when the final programme has been published or any other changes. Make sure you agree to receive updates when you download it.
